100% Corruption

Yesterday I posted the following on my Facebook page:

If you still labor under the illusion that the fix wasn't in for Hillary, consider this: it is a felony punishable by prison time to lie to the FBI. Hillary Clinton, a person who is so pathologically disposed to lying that she likely does it in her sleep, was interviewed on Saturday morning by the FBI for 3 and a half hours. It is simply not possible that the FBI determined by Tuesday morning that everything Ms. Clinton said to them on Saturday was truthful.

Hillary is part of the ruling class and thus exempt from the law. A vote for her is a vote for that ruling class. If you vote for her in November, you are voting for your own subjugation. This really is not complicated.


Well, in his testimony this morning, FBI Director James Comey solved this particular matter conclusively when he told a congressional committee that his six agents who "interviewed" Ms. Clinton did not even bother to place her under oath.  Think about that for a second:  This is the target of a year-long criminal investigation that involved at one point about 150 FBI agents.  Those agents spent a year pouring through records and interviewing dozens of witnesses, all of whom were forced to testify under oath.

Yet, when it came down to the final act, the questioning of the actual target of the investigation, the FBI chose not to put her under oath.  Why?  Because whenever someone testifies under oath in a criminal investigation, the FBI must record the testimony and produce a transcript of it that is subject to request under the Freedom of Information Act.

Thus, by failing to place Ms. Clinton - the ostensible TARGET of the investigation - under oath, the FBI ensures that no record of her testimony can become public.  This in turn relieves the FBI of having to compare the target's testimony to all the mountain of evidence their 150 agents had compiled during their investigation to determine whether or not she had lied to them, which, as mentioned above, is a felony.

This is 100% corruption of our federal government.  The process is complete, and they're no longer even trying to hide it.  President Obama promised to "transform this country", and he has succeeded.  100%.

Now would be a good time to pray for the future of your children and grandchildren.

The Tragedy of James Comey

The tragedy of James Comey is one of lost opportunity. He and he alone had a chance - possibly the last chance anyone will ever have if Hillary is elected in November - to demonstrate that one of the foundational principles of the American Experiment still applies.

That foundational principle is that we are a country in which all people are indeed created equal. That this is a country that has no ruling class. That this is a nation of laws, not of men, and that the laws that apply to the lowest among us apply equally to those who attain the highest public status.

James Comey alone could have become a true American hero by showing that this principle still applies in our society. Because he lacked either the character or the courage to do so, he demonstrated, perhaps irrevocably, that the opposite is now true in Barack Obama's fundamentally transformed America. We do now have a ruling class; we are no longer a nation of laws, but a nation of men; the law truly does apply differently to different people depending entirely on their class and political power.

It's a tragedy, plain and simple.  Nothing else matters or need be said.

The Star of David Joke's On Hillary

First, this is not the Star of David:

See the difference?  Good, because apparently no one at CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, the NY Times or the Washington Post is capable of making that distinction.

Well, that's not exactly true.  The people at all of those fake media outlets are capable of making that distinction, but when Donald Trump tweeted out the first image late last week, the fake media people saw what they believed was an opportunity to paint Trump as anti-Semitic by pretending he had used the actual Star of David for crass political purposes.  And so, every one of those fake media outlets spent the entire holiday weekend displaying that image for their viewers and pretending it was some great controversy that somehow proves the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party is anti-Semitic.

Do you see why the joke's on Hillary?  If you've been reading my stuff for the last 10 months, I imagine you do.

For the rest of you, here's the deal:  The Trump for President campaign just received about $100 million in free campaign advertising on all of these fake media outlets since last Friday.  The viewers and readers of these fake media outlets have for the last four days been literally inundated with that image and the message that Hillary Clinton is the Most Corrupt Candidate Ever (which coincidentally squares pretty well with my description of her as The Most Corrupt Woman In America).

The joke's on Hillary because about 90% of Americans are mainly visual learners who have the attention span of the average household cat.  Thus, whenever a report about this completely fabricated non-issue began to air, most people saw this image, took the 2 seconds it takes to read those four words, and tuned the rest of the report out.

That the endless repetition of such reports on all of these fake media outlets happened to come on the very weekend during which Ms. Clinton was interrogated by the FBI in connection with her email scandal can only serve to reinforce the already overwhelming feeling among the public that Hillary is indeed a hopelessly corrupt politician.

By the way, not only is Trump NOT anti-Semitic, he in fact spent tons of his own money in the 1990s challenging the city of Palm Beach, Florida's own anti-Jewish policies.

As this reality - and the reality that hundreds, if not thousands of state and local law enforcement agencies use six-sided stars for their badges (are they all anti-Semitic, too?) becomes public knowledge, we will see a backlash against the fake media and Ms. Clinton, and the polling data will reflect that over the next couple of weeks.

So, the joke here is on Hillary.  Her lapdogs at all of these fake media outlets have done her no favors with this phony controversy.

Another Ghoulish Administration Lie

Attorney General Loretta Lynch is going to appear on every Sunday morning news program today. Her focus will not be Islamic Terrorism as it should be. Nor will her focus be the seemingly interminable FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's serial selling of U.S. national security interests for personal gain, as it ought to be.

The Attorney General's focus will be to attempt to shift attention away from those real issues by demagoging the fake "gun control" issue.

This should really come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to the activities of the President and the Democrat presumptive nominee since the latest Islamic Terrorist atrocity took place in Orlando last week.

They are laying the foundation for the President to issue yet another in a long line of blatantly unconstitutional executive orders relating to gun control, most likely an order that would pretend to outlaw "assault weapons".

You can expect such an order to come as early as this week. These people always strike while the iron is hot, and as they like to say, they never want to let a good crisis - like 49 dead Americans - go to waste.

It's important to remember that the last time a major administration official appeared on every Sunday morning news program was when the UN Ambassador, Susan Rice, took to the air to blame the Benghazi attacks on a video, another blatant, disgraceful lie which Hillary Clinton fully supported.

These people are ghouls. They really, really are.

Connecting the Terrorism Dots

Our CIA Director is telling a congressional committee this morning that ISIS is working to send many more jihadists to the United States.  One of the main ways they plan to do that is by embedding them among the thousands of Syrian refugees that President Obama has already begun to bring into this country.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton recently doubled down on her pledge to continue and even increase the President’s policy towards giving these refugees asylum in this country, rather than find ways to provide them safety in their own country.

Progressives and our fake national news media appear to be incapable of making any connection between these realities and the constantly growing incidence rate of Islamic terrorist atrocities in the United States.

Connecting dots in a logical manner has never been a strong point for “progressives”.

Also this week, as the nation reels and mourns in the wake of 49 Americans murdered by a rampaging Islamic terrorist, President Obama quietly named a woman who is pretty much unquestionably a radical Islamist to his Council on Homeland Security.  I’m not making this up, promise.

Laila Alawa is a 25 year-old Syrian immigrant who has publicly praised the 9/11 attacks as having made the world a better place.  Although she immigrated to this country at the age of 10, she has publicly renounced any intention of ever becoming an assimilated American citizen.  Her Twitter feed is full of hate-filled, racist tweets towards America and Americans.

This is who our President wants on his Homeland Security Advisory Council.

Progressives and our fake national news media are incapable of making any connection between this sort of insanity and the constantly growing incidence rate of Islamic terrorist atrocities on U.S. soil.

Speaking of our President, today is Thursday, four full days after the Islamic terrorist committed his atrocity in Orlando, and he still hasn’t managed to find a moment to make a phone call to the Governor of Florida.  True, the Governor of Florida, Rick Scott, is a Republican, and we all know that this President considers Republicans to be his only true enemies, but every other president since the invention of the telephone would have put in a call to the governor of any state suffering such an attack within a few hours of its happening.

Again, there is no depth to which this President will not stoop in order to divide this country.

Progressives and our fake national news media are incapable of making any connection between this sort of intentionally divisive behavior in the White House and the constantly growing incidence rate of Islamic terrorist atrocities on U.S. soil.

Yesterday I mentioned that the FBI had interviewed the Orlando Islamic terrorist twice and had let him go free both times.  I was wrong:  it is reported today that the FBI actually had interviewed this obvious radical Islamist THREE times and had let him go free every time.  Not only that, but he was not placed on the FBI watch list – contrary to Hillary Clinton’s claims – and he was allowed to maintain his job as a security agent, a job which required a Homeland Security background check.

To understand why he was able to pass that background check and retain that job and avoid being placed on the FBI’s terrorist watch list, go back up and read who it is that our President appoints to his Homeland Security Advisory Board.

Progressives and our fake national news media are incapable of connecting any of these dots. 

They are, however, capable of inventing false connections between this religiously-motivated act and the need for “gun control”, because, you know, inanimate objects are the real issue here.

Hillary Clinton announced that the only things she would change to the current Obama policies would be to institute the following gun control measures:

·         Remove the “gun show loophole” in the background check laws;

·         Reinstate the “assault weapons” ban; and

·         Make sure that no one under FBI investigation could go out and buy firearms.

Here are the problems with these proposals:

·         There is no such thing as a “gun show loophole” – it hasn’t existed for years now.  She is relying on the ignorance and stupidity of average Americans in continuing to advocate eliminating something that does not exist;

·         The “assault weapons” ban existed in the law for many years, and never prevented any criminal from obtaining an “assault weapon”.  The policy was repealed because it made absolutely no difference whatsoever;

·         Preventing those under FBI investigation from purchasing guns would of course prevent Mrs. Clinton and all of her top advisors from being able to buy guns, because they are all under FBI investigation as of today.

But seriously, it would make sense for the government to make it illegal for anyone who is on the FBI terrorist watch list to obtain any sort of firearm.  It makes so much sense that Donald Trump met with the leaders of the NRA yesterday to try to convince them to support this change.

If the leaders of the NRA are smart, they will decide to support that change to the law.  It would be great publicity for them, and show they do understand that every right in the Bill of Rights is subject to certain limitations.

Of course, what Mrs. Clinton, her fellow progressives, and our fake national news media studiously ignore is that the Orlando Islamic terrorist was not on the FBI’s watch list, and thus, this change in policy would have – like every other gun control proposal they support – made no difference at all in what took place in Orlando.

All of those people would still be dead, the nation would still be in mourning, and our country would still be less safe, all because progressives and our fake national news media insist upon ignoring and distracting attention away from the real root cause of the problem.

Trump, Congress, and the Special Counsel Law

[UPDATE]  Many of you no doubt saw the recent news that Facebook's creator Mark Zuckerberg met recently with conservative leaders and assured them that Facebook was a strictly non-partisan entity that did not engage in censorship.  It's fair to let you know a link I posted to Facebook to this piece was in fact censored by Facebook shortly after it was posted there.

Almost forty-two years ago, Richard M. Nixon resigned from the office of the presidency.  He did so for two reasons:

• Because a then-extant independent national press corps did its job as protector of the public interest and hounded Nixon mercilessly for months, revealing as it did so the crimes of abuse of the FBI, abuse of the IRS, abuse of the Justice Department, obstruction of justice and subornation of perjury, among other things; and

• There were enough honest, conscientious Republicans in both the House of Representatives and the Senate to ensure Nixon would not only be impeached in the House, but also convicted in the Senate.

Eighteen years ago, Bill Clinton was impeached by a strong Republican majority in the House for most of the same crimes that had forced Nixon’s resignation, but was able to survive in Office for two reasons:

•  Because the national press corps had by then evolved into little more than an issues-advocacy arm of the national Democratic Party, refusing to report on the crimes of both Bill and Hillary Clinton in any meaningful way; and

• There was not a single honest, conscientious Democrat in the Senate who would do the right thing for the country and vote to convict a president from their own political party.

For the last eight years, we have had to stand by and witness as Barack Obama and his Administration commit, time after time after time, all of the crimes that forced Nixon from office – and many more – without congress taking any effective action whatsoever to curb his abuses of office, for two reasons:

• By now, the national “press corps” in fact exists only in memory and fantasy, having evolved at this point into nothing more than a de facto propaganda department for the current Administration, a reality about which Obama officials now shamelessly and publicly brag; and

• The Republican majorities in both houses of congress are too frightened of their own shadows to make any effort to cut through the media fog and make their case to the public.

The evolution – indeed destruction – of what used to be an independent national press corps into a de facto cabinet arm of a Democrat Administration is why we face our current choice for the presidency.  That choice is between a radical, non-politician presumptive GOP nominee who is often as critical of members of his own party as he is of the opposition, and a life-long criminal, most of whose own supporters will admit in private that she is a pathological liar.

Two of the main institutional pillars that have ensured the existence of our uniquely American form of democracy for more than two centuries are the existence of a strong adversarial national press corps and the presumption that the voters would elect men and women who respect the Constitution and who are capable of being shamed for their misbehaviors.  Bill Clinton proved beyond all doubt that a man who lacks the capability for shaming, combined with a press corps that has abandoned its duty as the protector of the public interest in favor of crass partisan politics can survive in the office of the presidency with impunity. 

Barack Obama learned that lesson well and has followed that model religiously with an even more lapdog-tamed press corps for the last eight years.  Hillary Clinton would have to also follow this model in order to stay out of prison, given the damage she has intentionally and knowingly done to our national security, and the influence-peddling racket she and her husband have run via their “Foundation” for the last dozen years.

The one tool that congress used to have at its disposal in order to curb some of the excesses of a criminal administration, the Special Counsel law, was allowed by the GOP-dominated congress to expire late in Bill Clinton’s second term in office.  This law provided for an independent panel made up of three federal judges that would consider the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate alleged executive branch crimes at congress’s request.

True, the law was heinously abused by Democrat-controlled congresses during the Reagan and Bush 41 years, which was the driving factor that led the 1999 congress to let the law expire.  But wouldn’t it have been a nice tool for congress to have had at its disposal over the last six years, as blatant abuses by this president of the IRS, FBI, Justice Department, EPA and Interior Department have gone largely unreported by the news media, and uninvestigated in any real sense by a completely corrupted Justice Department?

Should Donald Trump be fortunate enough to win this election and have GOP majorities in both houses of congress, one of his very first acts in office should be to propose renewal of the special counsel statute, even at the risk of having future Democrat congresses abuse it against Republican presidents.

Republicans like to brag that we respect the Constitution and separation of powers.  With the death of anything resembling an independent press corps, the existence of a special counsel law is one way to help protect the Republic against future outlaw presidencies like the one we have experienced for the last eight years.

Trump: Too Much Success, Too Soon?

I’ve made no secret about my belief that Donald Trump will win this election in November, based on the assumption that he would most likely be facing Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee.  If nominated, Mrs. Clinton would be the most inept and least politically appealing candidate nominated by either party since at least Bob Dole, and possibly since Adlai Stevenson.

On the off chance that Bernie Sanders somehow wins the nomination, Trump would easily defeat him as well.  Yeah, Sanders polls well against Trump right now, but that’s mainly due to the “Backup Quarterback” syndrome. 

What’s that mean?  On any college football team that has an underperforming starting quarterback, the most popular player among the fans is always, without exception, the backup quarterback.  That is, until said backup QB actually gets into the game and the fans figure out why he wasn’t the starter to begin with.  That’s the love affair Democrat and Independent voters are having with Bernie right now:  they all know in their hearts that Hillary is incredibly flawed and corrupt, and really don’t want to have to vote for her.   So Sanders occupies this wishful “if only” place in their hearts, and will continue to do so as long as he has no real shot at winning the nomination. 

That would all change were he to become the actual nominee, because the public would then have to confront head-on the real, true implications to our society that electing a 74 year-old Marxist to the presidency would bring, something they have not really had to do yet.  Trump, in that scenario, would possibly win every state in the country.

My view is that the real wild card for Trump is the still-alive possibility that the Democrats end up putting forth someone other than Hillary or Bernie as their party’s nominee.

It’s been obvious for a while that the polls in this race would tighten up once Trump became the presumptive nominee and went about uniting the party around him, and that has happened, much more quickly than even I thought it would.  In fact, it may actually be happening too quickly for Trump’s own good.

We suddenly now have seen two national polls over the last 24 hours showing Trump not only gaining on Hillary, but actually leading her by small margins.  The other national polls release in recent days have Hillary in the lead, but with a very small edge.  Taken all together, one reaches the inevitable conclusion that the race is now a dead heat, and Trump has every shred of the momentum behind him.

Good news for Trump, right?  Well, kind of, but not entirely.

We have to remember that Barack Obama and his utterly corrupt “Justice” Department literally hold Hillary Clinton’s fate in the palms of their collective hands.  It’s no secret that the President wants his Party to nominate someone who would in essence create a third term for his own agenda, and that is what Mrs. Clinton has promised to do in the hopes it would keep her out of jail.  Thus, so long as she pledged such fealty and appeared to be in good shape to win the general election, there was basically no chance the President would allow his Attorney General to pursue criminal charges against her no matter how strong the FBI’s case becomes.

But now, the situation has clearly changed.  Bernie has now won 9 of the last 10 contested primary states, Hillary is fading in the polls, and she and her campaign clearly have not the slightest clue about how to effectively attack Trump, or Sanders for that matter.  Meanwhile, Trump has united the preponderance of the GOP behind him, the goofy #NeverTrump minions are getting no traction finding some poor schlub to be their third party sacrificial lamb, he has made his peace with Megyn Kelly, has begun the effort of raising hundreds of millions of dollars for his general election campaign, and has actually built a professional campaign organization.

In this scenario, the President no doubt sees his hopes for a de facto third term flying out the proverbial window unless drastic measures are taken.  And he sees that drastic measure pretty much every day in the person of his Vice President, Joe Biden.

So, here is how this “could” all play out, if the President decides it is necessary: 

•  the FBI makes its criminal referral after deposing Hillary and her top assistants; 

• Obama gives the go-ahead to Justice to pursue criminal charges; 

• Hillary is thus forced to suspend her campaign;

• Sanders gets to the convention as the “leader”, but does not hold the necessary majority of delegates to win on the first ballot; and

• Joe Biden puts himself forward as the party’s White Knight, and is nominated on the second or third ballot.

Biden is goofy as Curly Howard and the same age as Bernie, but at least he has the advantage of not being an avowed Marxist.  Thus, the Democrats would have a “clean” nominee to rally around.

Trump would still beat Biden, but it would be a much more difficult task than defeating Hillary is likely to be.  So while he and his campaign are no doubt very happy with the events of the last two weeks, the one possible fly in this ointment is that he may have had too much success too soon.

Gawd, this is a fascinating campaign season.
